3B Putty is a non-toxic, pre-mixed putty-like material which when pressed into a puncture, forms an immediate seal to con- trol flammable and/or hazardous leaks and spills. It is a combination of high- sorptive polymer in a bentonite base. The polymer produces a protective seal against penetration of fuels and chemi- cals.

• Use 3B Putty as a major part of your emer-gency response spill kit. Scoop out and apply 3B Putty to instantly stop leaks. Be sure tosecure lid tightly so unused portions are not exposed to air which will dry the putty out. In cases such as tank punctures, Breg's dowels/ wooden plugs can be jammed into the hole to minimize fluid release.• To prevent the area from drying out, coverplug and around its edges with a thin layer of vaseline or oil. Store the putty in controlled areas to prevent freezing.• Reduce damage, liability and costly clean upby having 3B Putty available to minimize leaksand spills.• 3B Putty works on fuels and many chemicals.• 3B Putty sticks to dirty, rusty, greasy sur-faces and though there is no need for surface preparation before using, kneading the putty under these conditions is advisable.• 3B Putty comes in two sizes, # 9029 packagedin a 1 lb. container, and #9029A in a 1/2 lb. container.• It is advisable to rotate 3B Putty stock on anannual basis to insure maximum effective- ness.
