The wireless, battery-operated cart can remove rolls from both front-to-front winders. (Optional configuration for back-to-back winders is available.) The associated core shaft support stand eliminates operator handling of the shaft and includes core shaft deflation and inflation. The BE roll cart is just what operators need—it is safe, convenient and easy to operate.

Sequence of Operation

• Battery charges while cart at home position at die shaft support stand

■ Operator initiates sequence from the winder touch screen

• Cait approaches die winder, adjusts to the appropriate height for the roll

• Winder releases the roll/shaft

• Cart backs up to shaft support stand and lifts to appropriate height

■ Stand clamps on to the shaft

• Shaft deflates

• Leaving the shaft clamped to die stand, the cart then moves the roll and the core to the unload table

• Cart raises to the unload table height and tips off the roll and core

• Caii returns to the shaft support

• Operator manually places a new core on die shaft

• Cart raises to die height of die shaft and new core

• Support stand releases the shaft

• Cart cairies the shaft and core to the winder

• Winder accepts the shaft and core

• Cart dien moves to die facing winder to repeat die process or returns home
