Heavy-duty pallet containers are widely recognised as the strongest plastic insulated pallet containers on the market. They are preferable where there is a demand for high strength and carrying capacity, e.g. for heavy and/or long, steady loads. They are 25-30% heavier than the high-insulated type.

On account of their special properties, heavy-duty containers are especially recommended for use in the processing, storage and transportation of meat and poultry, as well as saltfish processing, marinating of shrimp and elsewhere in the fisheries sector. They are manufactured from one mate­rial throughout and therefore recyclable and completely solid, preventing impurities from collecting. Their smooth and curved surface is easy to clean and drainage holes boost hygiene even further.

The insulating properties of PE insulated pallet containers are considerably lower than the PUR insulated type, making them preferable to use where cooling equipment is available. On the other hand, the use of PE throughout means that heavy-duty pallet containers can withstand steady hot fluids at temperature of up to 70-80°C and as low as approx. -20°C.

Sizes 400, 600 and 700 These sizes are our new range of pallet containers, developed and designed in collaboration with the Danish Meat Research Institute to meet the most stringent demands for hygiene. They are also designed with future transportation modes in mind, meeting the ISO 6780 transportation standard in all respects.

They are accessible by hand jack and lift truck from all four sides

Sizes 660 and 460 These sizes are identical to the same sizes of the high-insulated type except
