 Thin, smooth arms enable tight stacking and loading also in confined spaces. Arm lengths optimized for the roll diameter increase the maneuverability of the lift truck. The short and long arm principle on all rotating clamps enable both vertical and horizontal handling, as well as effective loading. 
 



 All paper roll clamps handling both vertical and horizontal rolls need a rotation device. A rotation system also eases tight stacking in confined spaces as the short arm can be turned towards the wall or nearest paper roll. This saves space and allows roll stacking side-by-side. The exclusive Bolzoni Auramo 180-degree rackand- pinion rotation system provides fast, safe handling with fixed and accurate vertical roll end positions. This saves operation time drastically and reduces handling damage.       Contact pads are the most important part of the clamp attachment. In most normal handling situations, the pads are the only parts of the clamp which are in contact with the paper roll. Therefore, Bolzoni Auramo has paid special attention in designing and manufacturing contact pads which will ensure safe and non-damaging roll handling. All Bolzoni Auramo contact pads share the following properties in common: • Large supply of standard and special friction surfaces to meet the demands of varying handling practises and changing paper and wrapper types. • Thin pad design. The minimized pad thickness ensures good knifing properties when handling tightly stacked rolls. • Well-rounded, smooth pad profile and safe finish.     Paper roll clamps handling more than one paper roll at a time must always have a split clamping arm. A split arm design provides safe and damagefree handling of two paper rolls (or even more, depending on the clamp model and number of clamping arms). Split arm reduces roll edge damage and the risk to drop the rolls due to incorrect clamping. A clamp with a split clamping arm can also handle single paper rolls. Many Bolzoni Auramo paper roll clamp models are available alternatively with non-split or split long arm design to suit all handling needs. 
     
 All Bolzoni Auramo paper roll clamps have a built-in pressure relief valve for setting and adjusting the clamping force. Easily accessible, the cartridgetype valve provides accurate clamping force control. Optional pressure selection valves enable easy clamping force control directly from the lift truck’s cabin. 

  

 Built-in pad protection loops on the clamping arms prevent contact pads from wearing against the floor, and thus prevent the formation of paperdamaging sharp edges. These pad protection loops also have a secondary function to work as standing supports for the clamp.
