Our philosophy of dialogue concerning specific areas of use has, over the years, led to an impressive, technologicalspectrum. The rotary lobe
pump, for example, was developed in itsday as a single product range. The ever increasing areas
of use, however, led to the creation of the six ranges inuse today with a total of 16 rotary lobe
pump sizes. Themany areas of customisation concerning materials,
rotor geometry and seal elements have led to further diversification of the possible areas of use according tomodular design principles. The design and production orconstruction of a
pump is carried out according to the
requirements of its area of intended use.Thanks to close dialogue with our customers, we candevelop not only this range of diversity concerning theproduct ranges as mentioned above, but also the diversemodifications, which allow our rotary lobe
pumps to beused, for example, as mobile aggregates or immersion
pumps.
On top of this, this innovation-oriented dialogue has alsoled to independent product development. Our maceration
technology, for instance, has long since conquered themarket with products such as our powerful Multicrusheror the Multichopper. Products such as the universalauger feed screw, Powerfeed SSR and Bioselect also fit
into this category of development. Just as with our rotary
lobe
pumps, these products are also built according to the
MIP Principle.Today, Börger develops solutions for, amongst others,the oil and chemical industries, the agricultural andenergy industries, for nautical applications, for waterprocessing and purification plants, for certain areas of
the food industry as well as for a number of highly-
specialised applications. This huge market diversity places a great many different demands on our rotarylobe
pumps and maceration equipment.
