Our engineering department listened to the suggestions and requests of our customers, including engineers in the field, and made some design modifications and enhancements. You’ll find these significant changes listed below. In addition, the built-in controller, Blue-White’s exclusive patented Tube Failure Detection system, and a multitude of pump tube sizes and materials from which to choose, make Flex-Pro the pump of choice for many applications. N ew Features Updates and enhancements begin with the electronics, which now include a large terminal block mounted within the newly designed junction box. This modification makes it easier to access the electronics. And, the junction box is now one piece rather than two. With the Flex-Pro A3s’ Newly Engineered Terminal Block – complete with color-coded overlays – making connections is fast and efficient. Plus, the Flex-Pros’ New junction box provides extra working room. There are no loose wires. The Flex-Pro A3s‘ New terminal block board, located within the junction box, utilizes eleven pluggable terminal blocks. The easy-tounderstand, color-coded overlay clearly identifies terminals and connections. Just follow the handy overlay guide. The Flex-Pro A3 Junction Box has five cable glands, and the A3 is equipped with water-tight connectors. With Flex-Pro A3s’ thoughtfully designed user-friendly connectors you choose what’s right for your installation. Hard Conduit or flexible cable. Will not false trigger from water during wash down or rain. Blue-White's exclusive patented Tube Failure Detection system, no one comes close to this breakthrough technology (U.S. patent: 7,001,153 and 7,284,964). In fact, the TFD may be the most important patent ever awarded for peristaltic pumps. The TFD System will detect a wide range of chemicals with no false triggering. If the TFD senses tube failure, the pump will automatically shut off and energize a relay or switch, permitting communication with external equipment, such as a back-up pump or alarm.
