Single Shafts

Bison's Model 750 line of hollow shaft gearmotors allows hundreds of mounting configurations enabling engineers to optimize their assemblies. Industry standard mounts are available for drop-in requirements, and a hollow shaft style is available to use with optional accessories to meet your specification!

Assembled units are available either in the traditional Bison mounting or the hollow shaft style. Optional shafts and mounting brackets are available as accessories for field installation.

To optimize your configuration, select a hollow shaft gearmotor, a mounting style, and a shaft configuration.

Following Bison's tradition, all AC units come standard with brake shaft extension for optional AC power-off brakes. DC units have tapped armature shafts to allow mounting of shaft extension kits and optical encoders.

All shafts come standard with required keyways and retaining rings.

Bronze Alloy Worm Gear Cast directly onto the output shaft for maximum strength, our worm gear is machined at the same time as the shaft, insuring dimensional precision and repeatable performance.

"O" Ring Seals Used on the input and output flanges, provides a tight, positive seal.

Epoxy Powder Coat Finish Our paint is oven cured, corrosion resistant, and it is the most durable in the industry.

Spring Loaded Lip Seals Seals are positioned on ground shaft diameters for long life.

Single Piece Aluminum Housing Lighter and dimensionally stronger than zinc, our gearcase is machined on automated mills for superior alignment of bearings and gearing.
