Linear Motion System with Standard Bearing Program

Pages 2-7 provide an overview of the comprehensive GV3 linear motion system. Below is shown the basic range of slides and components available with standard twin and double row bearings. A similar range is available with slimline bearings, details of which are shown on the following page. Components are available factory assembled where possible or as individual parts

LUBRICATORS & 34 n n Lubricates contact surfaces increasing load capacity and life. Can be attached from either side of a carriage. ALL SLIDES (COMMON FEATURES) & 20-25 n Lightly sprung felt wiper ensures low friction. n One piece construction for assured parallelism and rigidity. n Long lubrication interval. n Manufactured from high quality bearing steel. n Deep hardened V faces for maximum wear resistance. n Soft center section allows customizing. n Wide range of sizes to choose from. n 3 grades of precision to suit cost/performance requirements. n Any length supplied up to 4 meters, unground grade to 6 meters. n Unlimited length achieved by butting. n Attractive, corrosion inhibiting black finish on unground faces. SINGLE EDGE FLAT SLIDE/DOUBLE EDGE FLAT SLIDE & 24-25 n Common 70° ‘V’ allows many bearing/slide combinations. n Lower weight for less inertia where slide is the moving component. n Lower cost in cases where spacer is part of customer’s construction. n Plain hole, or counterbored fixing option for flush top surface. n A number of widths for each basic section gives 11 sections to choose from. n Can be spaced apart for high moment load capacity. CAP SEAL & 32 n n Lubricates contact surfaces increasing load capacity and life. "Lubricated for life" in most applications. n Seals against ingress of debris. n Improves operational safety. n Enhances appearance of system. n Incorporates both through hole and tapped hole fixing facility. PINIONS & 41 n Bored type and integral shaft type available. n Hardened teeth for long life. n Keyway provided in bored type pinion. n Shaft type pinion compatible with rack driven carriage. n Shaft type pinion compatible with motor gearboxes. DOUBLE EDGE SPACER SLIDE & 20-21 n Mounts directly to a flat surface. No spacer required. SINGLE EDGE SPACER SLIDE & 22-23 n n n Keyway and datum edges provide means of location and alignment. Counterbored hole fixing, tapped hole fixing or undrilled options available. Plastic hole plugs provided to avoid debris traps. n Mounts directly to a flat surface. No spacer required. n A number of widths for each basic section gives 11 sections to choose from. n Can be spaced apart for high moment load capacity. n Keyway and datum edges provide means of location and alignment. n Counterbored hole fixing, tapped hole fixing or undrilled options available. n Plastic hole plugs provided to avoid debris traps. n Rack cut option provides means of driving. n Back face provides mounting register, or running surface for track roller. n 5 sections to choose from.
