The SL20 stroboscope is a portable professional instrument with high performance and reliability, that allows perfect observations of fast motions : main characteristics are good brightness of flash lamp, external trigger to automatically synchronize the flash lamp with a external signal, double AC/DC power supply, light-weight design, easy to handle. The synchronization of the flash lamp occurs by means of external trigger (with tachimetric function) such as the internal oscillator with coarse and fine regulation for a quick and precise adjustment. The DIV function (automatic dividing function :2 :4 :8) allows to observe fast movements at lower flash frequencies, however obtaining the stopped image with a higher brightness and a longer life of xenon lamp and battery charge. Revolution readout in RPM is easy thanks to a large dot matrix lcd display (on request is available the double RPM/Hz readout). The phase shifter circuit permits to obtain the angle of observation into the most favourable position on 360°. Double AC/DC power supply permits to use the instrument also when the AC power supply is not available or in uncomfortable conditions. The internal rechargeable battery makes it possible to use the SL20 stroboscope for a long time without need of connection cables, while is always possible to use the instrument with AC power supply (with supplied AC adapter). Brightness of the flash lamp is high, with automatic control of brightness on two intensity. Small dimension and light-weight, together with battery power, promotes hand-held operation. The stroboscope is encased in a rugged, high-impact plastic housing. Carrying case and battery charger supplied.

APPLICATIONS

The SL20 stroboscope is always used wherever motion sequences have to be analyzed or rotation speeds have to be measured. Applications involves many sectors of Production and Maintencance Industry : measurements of rotation speeds, frequences and period - observations on textile and printing machines – vibration measurements – quality control - packaging – observation of mechanical deformation – laboratories – etc.
