The DS5 stroboscope is a portable professional instrument that combines compact dimension with good performance and reliability, ideal to be used in production and maintenance industry , whenever it is necessary a good brightness of flash lamp and a high portability. The synchronization of the flash lamp occurs by means of external trigger (with tachimetric function) such as the internal oscillator with coarse and fine regulation for a quick and precise adjustment. Double AC/DC power supply permits to use the instrument without connection cables, also when the AC power supply is not available or in uncomfortable conditions. Internal rechargeable battery makes it possibile to use the instrument for a long time , without need of connection cable, while is always possibile use the stroboscope with AC power supply (by means of the supplied AC adapter). Revolution readout in RPM is easy thanks to a large dot matrix lcd display. Brightness of flash lamp is high, the Extra Light button permits to increase the brightness, with manual adjustment on two light intensity. The phase shifter circuit permits an image shifting of 360°, to obtain the angle of observation into the most favourable position. The DIV function (automatic dividing function :2 :4) allows to observe fast movements at lower flash frequencies, however obtaining the stopped image with a higher brightness and a longer life of xenon lamp and battery charge. Compact dimension and light-weight makes DS5 stroboscope ideal for hand-held operation. The instrument is encased in a rugged, high-impact plastic housing. Carrying case and battery charger supplied.

APPLICATIONS

The DS5 stroboscope is always used in all Production and Maintenance Industries, wherever motion sequences have to be analysed or rotation speeds have to be measured.: observation on textile and printing machines – quality control – observa-tion of mechanical deformations – packaging – laboratories – ecc.
