The oil emulsive condensate enters the pressure relief chamber of the OWAMAT® under pressure. There, excess

pressure is relieved without creating turbulence in the separation container. The solid pollutants carried with the condensate collect in the removable sediment container. In the separation container, the oil rises to the surface and is skimmed off via the adjustable oil overflow into the overflow protected oil reservoir (included in the scope of delivery). The condensate, thus pre-cleaned now flows through an oleophilic preliminary filter and then through

an adsorption filter (OWAMAT® 6 & 8 : two adsorption

filters). The preliminary filter bonds the remaining oil droplets to its material, the adsorption filter retains any residual oil.
