WHO ARE WE?Bauer - Catalogue - 13894 WHO ARE WE?
In 1966 the company was established by Heinz Dieter Bauer,Executive Managing Director, starting off as a one-man business. It is under his leadership that Bauer GmbH has developed into one of the most important manufacturers with more than 200 employees.The company originally had a production floorage area of3.500 m2 and has today 65.000 m
2 in total; of which atpresent 30.500 m
2 are under cover. Initially Bauermanufactured mostly transport equipment, specializing in attachments for the fork-lift truck as of 1971. In 1985 the first products for the environmental protection sector were manufactured.In answer to the high demand for Bauerproducts a second production site was opened in Halberstadt (Sachsen-Anhalt) in 1993. The beginning of 2001 saw the inauguration of another paint shop and the Logistic Centre, both important markers pointing to the future.
