Objective: To indicate which shims to pick and to provide push-button verification of the correct pick. Choose either 50 or 100 mm fixed-field background suppression to meet tight mounting restrictions or for areas with a lot of interference, such as near a moving conveyor manufacturer or active machine. Objective: Signal the destination for requested parts by pushing a button. The assembler presses the button after taking a part, verifying that the correct part has been selected and activating the light of the next bin in the sequence. Push buttons can also be used as an automated call for parts system—the assembler touches a bin’s push button when the part supply runs low, to light the K50 and notify the supplier.
