™ PVD Series: The easiest to implement wide area pick-to-light system
A one-piece system requires no controller The patent-pending PVD Series parts verification sensor features both an emitter and receiver in a one-piece self-contained design that requires no controller to operate. PVD sensors provide a fast, simple way to guide accurate bin selection, increasing task efficiency and quality control while reducing rework and inspections. Design automatically chooses either diffuse or retroreflective mode The PVD sensor is the easiest to implement for most applications because it is a single-piece unit that requires little to no alignment. The PVD offers automatic sensing mode selection of either diffuse or retroreflective sensing, depending on the presence or absence of a retroreflective target. Ideal for both small and large bins Versatile and compact, the PVD fits many bin sizes and configurations. The diffuse sensing mode is ideal for smaller bins and has a sensing range of up to 400 mm, while the retroreflective mode accommodates larger bins with an extended 2 m sensing range. >

Green job light to initiate user action Large green job light turns red to indicate errors Job lights featuring large bright green and red indicators provide distinct visual cues to guide assemblers through a part-picking sequence and to indicate an incorrect or out-of-sequence selection. The solid or blinking lights provide a totally visual communication sytem that eliminates training obstacles such as language barriers and technical inexperience. This makes it easier to hire and train assemblers. >
