AutoCut System Maintenance

Maintenance Schedule

The AutoCut carriage, x and y rails, rack, sensors, and pinionsmust be kept clean and free from any debris. The maintenance schedule is simple and, if followed, will ensure that your AutoCut provides you with many years of trouble-free operation. PRECAUTIONS: Turn off power to the system before doing any maintenance. Never stand on vacuum table top. Keep material rolls off of the cutting table when the carriage ismoving. If the carriage hits a roll of material (or other objects), it can cause extensive damage. Keep scrap or waste material from getting caught along the sides of the carriage or in the x-axis e-chain. Anything (materi- al, plastic coverings, tape, etc.) that comes between the extru- sions and the moving carriage may cause damage to the system. Keep all heavy equipment and supplies (forklifts, hoists, rolls of material, pallets, etc.) away from the table. Bumping the table with force can cause it to lose calibration or could cause severe damage. Protect the machine and yourself from static discharge with static mats and straps. Always ground yourself before you han- dle electronic components.
