A singlehelix is used to reduce lag time. Thebearings are made of a low-friction long- life material. The shafts are made of spe-cially drawn stainless steel with a verysmooth finish. All joints are welded, and the weld between the stem and the out-let is located at the bottom of the threadsto eliminate the possibility of crevice corrosion.Silicone dampening is included forimproved vibration resistance. ™ EL CIEI This series has a hermetically sealedcase and external adjustment.Connection locations are rear,lower and Everyangle. Thehermetic industrial seal preventsentry of moisture intothe casing, minimizingthe possibility of icingor fogging insidethe case. CICase Style This style is tam-per resistant andhermetically sealed.Connection loca-tions are rear andlower. The CI Serieswas designed for applica-tions where external adjustment or pointer reset are not desired. Hermetic sealing reduces the problems created by moisture entering the case. ELCase Style This series is liquid filled –prolonging instrument life. Potential wear problems caused by excessivevibration are minimized through dampening, and the liquid mediumimproves readability. External adjustment is standard in the rear of the case.
