As the new compact NK series actuator has been a real success since its launch, refined electro­nics for it could not be long in coming. Operation and setting of the PMR-NK microprocessor controller integrated in the actu­ator is absolutely easy. The new controller is the icing on the cake in a large range of electrical ac­cessories like auxiliary switches, potentiometers, and power out­put and position indicators.

With it, the NK provides reliable and accurate control for the ad­justment of small and smoothly operating industrial valves.

Activation of actuators is effected via external set value presetting and disposes of electrically se­parated actual value output. The new ARIS CAN-OPEN board, providing bus connection for the CAN-OPEN protocol, is available for both, the PMR3 built-in ver­sion and the external model on equipment rack for installation on a standard mounting rail.

This is ARIS' response to the in­creasing demand of cable- and cost-saving bus systems.

In addition to the fault message output and the two-line plain text display, the CAN-OPEN module completes the trio of high-class electrical options for the ARIS mi­croprocessor controller PMR 3.
