The Ascent A340 has a 1/3 format interline transfer sensor with high quantum effi ciency and twice the dynamic range of similar Sony sensors. The camera is available with a monochrome sensor or color sensor with a Bayer mosaic (with C suffi x). The A340S supports single channel output; the A340D supports dual channel output for twice the speed. Low noise and small pixels are ideal for OEM applications, biological sciences, guiding / adaptive optics, and other high frame rate applications.
