| ■ evitar la ignición de atmósferas explosivas y ■ atenuar los efectos perjudiciales de una explosión de forma que se garantice la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Para ello, el empresario deberá adoptar entre otras medidas: | ■ to avoid the ignition of explosive atmospheres and ■ to attenuate the harmful effects of an explosion so that there the health and safety of the workers are guaranteed. For it, the businessman will have to adopt, between among other measurements: ■ To evaluate the risks of explosion. ■ To ensure the work environment is safe enough to carry out the work with no risk. ■ To classify in zones the areas in which explosive atmospheres can be formed, guaranteeing the application of minimum requirements and the signposting of accesses to these areas, if applicable. When there are workers from several companies in the same workplace, every businessperson shall be responsible for all the matters under their control, though without prejudice of the individual responsibility of every businessperson. The businessperson who is responsible for that workplace shall coordinate the application of every measure relevant to the workers safety and health. The Directive imposes on the businessperson the obligation to elaborate and keep an updated document of protection against explosions or a series of documents that meet the minimum requirements. This document includes the identification of the cases, the risks evaluation and the definition of the minimum measures to be taken to guarantee the workers health and safety. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ■ Evaluar los riesgos de explosión. ■ El entorno de trabajo sea tal que este se pueda realizar de forma segura. ■ Clasificar en zonas, las áreas en las que pueden formarse atmósferas explosivas, garantizando en ellas la aplicación de disposiciones mínimas establecidas y si procede la señalización de accesos a estas áreas. Cuando en un mismo lugar de trabajo se encuentren trabajadores de varias empresas, cada empresario será responsable de todos los asuntos que se encuentren bajo su control, aunque sin perjuicio de la responsabilidad individual de cada empresario; el empresario que tenga la responsabilidad de ese lugar de trabajo coordinará la aplicación de todas las medidas relativas a la seguridad y salud de los trabajadores. La Directiva impone al empresario la obligación de elaborar y mantener actualizado un documento de protección contra explosiones o una serie de documentos que satisfagan los requisitos mínimos. Este documento incluye la identificación de los supuestos, la evaluación de los riesgos y la definición de las medidas mínimas a adoptar para garantizar la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Con la finalidad de asegurar un trabajo sin riesgo para la salud, higiene, y seguridad de los trabajadores en instalaciones de atmósferas explosivas, los empresarios propietarios como máximos responsables de estos emplazamientos deben hacer hincapié en la mentalización hacia la seguridad por parte del personal que trabaja en las instalaciones, poniendo para ello a su alcance los medios para la formación adecuada. Por último, indicar que las directivas basadas en los artículos 100A y 137 son aproximadamente una docena fijando cada una de ellas un número mayor o menor de requisitos esenciales de seguridad, siendo de vital importancia la obligación, tanto para fabricantes como para usuarios, la evaluación de los riesgos. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
