NEW PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

The Ideal Signal Generator

MG3690B RF/Microwave Signal Generator

0.1 Hz to 65 GHz / 325 GHz The new MG3690B series signal generators are available in sixconvenient models: 10 GHz, 20 GHz, 30 GHz, 40 GHz, 50 GHz, and 65 GHz (operational up to 67 GHz). Compared to the pre- vious MG3690A series, the new MG3690B offers best-in-class spectral purity, higher output power, and faster switching speed. For example, the MG3692B can provide -94 dBc/Hz phase noise at 1 kHz offset with guaranteed +21 dBm output power at 20 GHz while typically switching at 5 ms per point! New mmW modules are also available up to 325 GHz. Finally, enhanced pulse performance provides 100 ns leveled pulse widths above 1 GHz with 10 ns internal resolution. Anritsu continues to en- hance the MG3690B to improve performance, functionality, and value as the ideal signal generator for any RF and microwave application.(For further information see page 568)

For High Resolution Rising Edge, Narrow Pulse Radar and 4G Power Measurements

ML2490A Series Wideband Peak Power Meters

10MHz to 50GHz* The ML2490A is the latest addition to the Anritsu Peak Powermeter line and extends the performance of the successful ML2480A series for the most demanding high bandwidth peak power measurement applications. This new instrument incor- porates extra wide bandwidth and a high resolution sampling system to provide detailed information on the power profile of Radar signals and the latest generation of wide bandwidth OFDM 4G systems. The ML2490A series supports all the functionality of the ML2480A series and offers in addition a mainframe bandwidth of 65 MHz and an 8 ns rise time with the MA2411B Pulse sensor.(For further information see page 596)
