NEW PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONSW-CDMA TRX Test System for Mobile TerminalsME7878A Mobile Communication Test SystemThe ME7878A Mobile Communications Test System is an au-tomatic system for testing the characteristics of W-CDMA mo- bile communications systems. The ME7878A system consists of various measuring instru- ments based around the MT8820A Radio Communication Analyzer and some special test software. It can be used for ex- ecuting the measurements specified in sections 5 (Transmitter Tests) and 6 (Receiver Tests) of the 3GPP TS34.121 specifica- tions, though some items are not supported: see the datasheet for more details. In particular, it is ideal for inspection applica- tions in which requirements such as spurious and interference waveform tests are performed by combining several different in- struments. Fast measurements and simple operation make the ME7878A the ideal system for R&D link tests and mobile terminal recog- nition tests, as well as for production line lot tests on production lines and QC inspection tests.(For further information see page 254)Supports the Evaluation of Wireless Communications Evolving Into the 4th GenerationMG3700A Vector Signal Generator250 kHz to 3 GHz, 250 kHz to 6 GHz (Option) MG3700A is a vector signal generator based on a 160 MHz ar-bitrary waveform generator that includes the features of “Wide vector modulation bandwidth” and a “Large capacity basebandmemory.” Furthermore, MG3700A supports digital modulation of signals for various wireless communication systems, enabling you to evaluate general mobile communications, such as cellular phones and wireless LANs. Anritsu’s waveform generation software IQproducer™can cre- ate waveform patterns and transmit them to MG3700A via 100BASE-TX Ethernet. Furthermore, IQ sample data files (in ASCII format) programmed by using general EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools such as MATLAB® can also be con-verted to waveform patterns for MG3700A. And a custom-made waveform pattern file can be generated arbitrarily.(For further information see page 258) MATLAB is a registered trademark of the Math works, Inc. http://www.anritsu.com 18 |
