One Box Tester supporting Converged Network

MP1590B Network Performance Tester

The MP1590B Network Performance Tester can be used tomake performance tests and jitter measurements of previous PDH, DSn, SDH/SONET, and OTN-related equipment and de- vices as well as OTN, EoS, virtual concatenation, and LCAS measurements of so-called next-generation networks. It uses the Ethernet plug-in modules from the Anritsu MD1230 IP Tester series to provide a single- cabinet measurement solution for IP networks. Furthermore, when used by combining the built-in differential electrical interface and the Jitter Measurement Unit, it offers an accurate jitter measurement so- lution for optical modules, such as XFP. Depending on the plug-in unit combination, the MP1590B of- fers OTN, SDH/SONET, EoS, jitter, Ethernet, etc., measure- ments for converged next-generation networks.(For further information see page 206)

ME7876A Mobile Communication Test System

The ME7876A Mobile Communication Test System is a systembased on the MT8820A Radio Communication Analyzer and an external PC. The system enables automatic testing of the transmission/re- ception characteristics of W-CDMA/GSM/cdma2000
® /mobileequipment conforming to 3GPP standards. It uses measurement methods based on the open standards of 3GPP TS 34.121/TS51.010 and 3GPP2 C.S0011-0, as well as simple high-speed measurements.(For further information see page 250)
