A complete on-site test laboratory that brings temperature calibration to a new level
The ATC series offers a wide temperature calibration range (-90 to 650ËšC) and improved stability (+ 0.01ËšC for most models) for marine calibration. It utilizes innovative dual-zone heating technology for precision calibration of sensors. Independent heating control allows the lower zone to ensure optimum heat dissipation throughout the entire calibration zone, while the upper zone
compensates for heat loss from the sensor-under-test and the open top. This design also eliminates the need for insulation of
the sensors-under-test and allows calibration of liquid-filled and other mechanical sensors. Calibration of even more sensors Two models of the ATC series (ATC-140 and ATC-250) can be used both as dry-block calibrators and as liquid
calibration baths with a magnetic stirrer. The liquid bath and the dry-block diameter of 63.5 mm (2.5 in) are twice the size of any other JOFRA dry-block. With these options, it is now possible to calibrate even more
temperature sensors at the same time and to calibrate large as well as odd sizes and shapes of sensors, which were not possible to calibrate in the existing range. Calibration at very low temperatures The JOFRA ATC-125 ultra cooler features a unique technology for optimum performance and superior temperature homogeneity throughout the block at very low temperatures. The ATC-125 has a performance equivalent to a liquid temperature bath and

temperature is too low, too little
fuel will be let into the cylinder,
and if the temperature is too
high, too much fuel will be let
into the cylinder.Often a range of ±10°C (50°F) is allowed, before the alarm is
activated. However, if calibration
is performed more often, this
range could be reduced and a
more economical combustion

On each cylinder, a thermometer has been placed close to the exhaust gas outlet to measure the temperature of the exhaust
gas. This thermometer breaks very often due to the impact
from the exhaust gas. As a consequence the temperature
indication is often inaccurate. Thermometers most frequently
