GEOSPOT is a compact tracking device, with IP65 degree of protection, powered by a built-in high capacity Lithium battery. GSM and GPS antennas are also built into the case to guarantee compactness and quick installation.GEOSPOT can be installed outside objects or vehicles in motion. The case is equipped with four powerful magnets capable of securely supporting its weight to guarantee extremely quick assembly.GEOSPOT is equipped with a very sensitive motion sensor, which allows the reduction of energy consumption to zero when the device is inactive. According to the type of battery fi tted and the interval at which data is sent, battery life can vary from several days to more than a year.By request the sensor can also be equipped to measure acceleration higher than a programmable value to detect and report events like impacts, jumping or anomalous conditions of vehicle use.Connection with the control centre can be established after a call by the operator if the device detects an event such as the movement of the vehicle.GEOSPOT has an internal memory for recording data and can be programmed to record approximately 20.000 positions detected by the GPS receiver and about 1.900 events.A complete location and tracking system can be created using GTrack software and maps, supplied by request.GTrack software makes it possible to follow the moving target on the map displayed on the PC and to control all the functions of the GEOSPOT tracker. • • GEOSPOT is designed to offer maximum reliability even in extreme working conditions, such as extensive changes in temperature, extreme humidity, condensation and vibrations. The strong, compact case, the set of powerful magnets and the IP65 degree of protection make installation extremely quick and easy. • The considerable sensitivity of the GPS module used makes it possible to follow the target even in critical situations with indirect refl ected signal reception. • • The quad-band module makes connection possible in all countries and areas where the GSM network is available, ensuring the most extensive monitoring of moving objects. The possibility to programme the device using different methods (SMS, GPRS/modem connection) makes it easy to control in any situation. • The fi rmware can also be changed using the GSM/GPRS remote connection, with the great advantage of being able to upgrade or add functions without having to recall the device.
