Data Base and Customizable Reports Programming The data received from the tracking device is stored in a MySQL fi le. Every data item is kept and made available for a maximum of ninety days.The data can be subject to different processes, which are confi gured and customised on the basis of the requirements of the application. The single processes can generate printable reports to document the movements of the trackers, times and any exceptions.It is possible to export data in KML (Google Earth), CSV (Excel and Access) and PDF formats. The operating parameters of the tracking device and the account profi le determined the operating modes, the data refreshing frequency and the conditions for signalling each alarm, and they can all be programmed from the PC, which forms the control station, by means of a simple, user-friendly interface. It is also possible to send specifi c commands via SMS text from a mobile phone. Available GPS Trackers i-scout software can connect to all ALGODUE trackers and automatically recognises the model connected. This characteristic makes it possible to build up mixed systems where the characteristics of each tracker are chosen according to the use, in order to achieve the best results. System Overview Alerts The block diagram shows how the system works. The tracking devices show up their position via the receipt of the signal from the GPS system, acquiring any other information on the vehicle to which they are connected and transmit the data to the server at automatic intervals or when requested to do so. Communication is made possible by the GSM/GPRS network.The server receives the information and memorises it in a fi le. Receipt takes place via the Internet if the data has been sent in GPRS mode or via a GSM modem is the data in SMS text form. The server can also initiate, via SMS text, a communication to the tracking devices to request data, programme the device, sent commands, etc. Uisng the same methods (Internet or SMS text) the server also communicates with the control stations made up of a PC connected to the Internet or mobile devices connected to the GSM network, such as mobile phones. Therefore the server represents a bridge which makes it possible to exchange data between tracking devices and control stations in a simplifi ed and optimised way, also in terms of running costs.Using an individual password, the data stored on the server can be accessed from the control stations for display, analysis and importing when necessary. The main types of data supplied by the system are:- location, speed, direction, altitude, route, date, time- statuses of motion sensor, inputs/outputs, battery, etc.- alert conditions- profi le and operating methods programmedPosition data is represented on the map, with the possibility of regulating the detail as required, right down to the name of the street. The system can refresh the data displayed at regular time intervals, on the basis of optimisation logics (e.g.: only if the target is moving) or when requested to do so. Besides the characteristic position data, the system also manages all alarm conditions, such as:- the pressing of the panic button, interference with the device, low battery power, loss of the GPS signal- the crossing of a defi ne area (geofencing), the exceeding of a set speed limit, movement start and end, movement at an unexpected time, etc.Alarms and events can be confi gured to immediately notify programmed telephone numbers or one or more e-mail boxes.
