General information & application Apart from the standard ranges of industrial and commercial air coolers, Alfa Laval produces special Helpman air coolers fully designed to customers’ specifications. For these special air coolers there are four basic coil types available (Helpman ZT, ZTY, TR & TRY) and a great number of accessories and design options. Evaporating temp. down to -45 °C Refrigerants ammonia (R-717), all H(C)FC, brine, CO2 Capacities as required Coil types • ZT coil - Steel tubing 22 x 1.0 mm (St-35.8) - Tube pitch 60 x 60 mm square - Steel fins 0.35 mm (St5) 0.45 mm after galvanising. - Fin spacings 6 up to 18 mm - Coil galvanised acc. NEN-ISO 1461 • ZTY coil - Stainless steel tubing 22 x 0.7 mm (SS 304) - Tube pitch 60 x 60 mm square - Aluminium fins 0.4 mm (AlMg 2.5) - Fin spacings 6 up to 14 mm • TR coil - Cu tubing 5/8” x 0.45 mm - Tube pitch 50 x 50 mm square - Aluminium fins - Fin spacings 3 up to 12 mm • TRY coil - Stainless steel tubing 16 x 0.7 mm (SS 304) - Tube pitch 50 x 50 mm square - Aluminium fins - Fin spacings 3 up to 12 mm Optional features • Coil - Multiple fin spacing - Epoxy coated fin material • Casing - Epoxy coating RAL - Sight windows or inspection hatches - Side panels • Fans - Dual fan speed / reinforced axial fans - Protection class IP65 - Isolating switch • Defrost systems - Hot gas / water / electric defrost - Automatic defrost dampers • Heating (electric/hot gas) - Driptray / coil / fan ring heating - Defrost damper heating • Insulation - Drip tray / casing / cladding • Installation - Installed non-return valve - Hot gas coil in driptray connected with suction header Additional options and technical specifications on request.
