AKU2xxx-Module-B PRODUCT BRIEF PB7-1.0 Chips That Can Hear, Speak, and Sense the World Around Them GENERAL DESCRIPTION The AKU2xxx-Module-B is a daughter card that provides stereo digital microphone output for direct connection to the TI AIC33/34/3106 evaluation board using the accompanying harness and connector. The microphone spacing on the module assembly is 67.5mm. This assembly will allow an easy assessment of the functionality of stereo digital microphones with the TI family of CODECs that are configured to accept stereo digital microphone input. Along with the two AKU2xxx digital microphones that are mounted on the daughter card, there are also two 0.1ìF decoupling capacitors on the board near the microphones. Note that the necessity of these components or others in an a system will be highly dependent on the exact implementation and length of cable selected.
