DATA SHEET
RELEASE ALL® SAFELEASE 30
Water Based P.T.F.E. Release Agent Non-Silicone, Non-CFC, Non-V.O.C., Non-Red Label
General Information
Safelease 30 is a water based P.T.F.E. release agent that contains no silicones or silanes. Safelease 30 can be used for cure cycles up to 450°F (232°C). Safelease 30 can be used on composite and metal tools and provides a superior release from epoxies, phenolics, BMI's and urethane resin systems. Safelease 30 does not attract moisture so steam does not develop on the mold surface during cures. Safelease 30 is the only water based release agent that works on composite molds without needing a sealer. One coat allows multiple releases. Safelease 30 is an air dry system. Heat cure is not necessary.
Application Instructions
Note: Shake well prior to application.
1. Thoroughly clean and dry mold surface.
2. Apply one light coat with a lint free cloth or with conventional spray paint equipment. Adjust the spray nozzle and air pressure to produce a light mist.
3. Allow approximately 30 minutes drying time at room temperature.
4. Apply a light buff with a lint free cloth to remove any excess.
5. Mold is now ready for production.
Cycles
Safelease 30 is capable of multiple release cycles with most resin systems. Removal
In the event of mold release buildup, Safelease 30 can be easily removed using Release Off 826. Refer to the Data Sheet for application instructions.
