60 1 AERSERVICE FORNISCE PRODOTTI E SOLUZIONI TENENDO CONTO DI RIFERIMENTI NORMATIVI NAZIONALI E INTERNAZIONALI TURNING SHOP 3 WELDING AND FINISHING AREA APPLICATIONS Suspended modules are designed and built for extremely occasional and non intensive work processes. The proposed solution is a mechanical or electrostatic air cleaner, which can solve the majority of problems deriving from work processes that generate both dry and oil impregnated fumes and, in certain specific cases, also oil mist. Coupling the filtration unit to a suction arm (our IBS series) makes it possible to capture, at source, fumes, gas, microscopic particulate that are harmful for operator health, and is recognised and approved by international institutions responsible for promoting and regulating health and safety in the workplace. These units are suitable exclusively for single work stations and, thanks to their excellent quality-price ratio, they constitute the ideal solution for occasional and light duty applications involving the generation of fumes that are potentially harmful for operator health. In the case of replenishment of filtered air, we recommend frequent servicing and cleaning of the filter sections to obtain higher efficiency levels and maintain filtration capacity. AERSERVICE SUPPLIES PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS TAKING ACCOUNT OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NORMATIVE REFERENCES OPERATOR SAFETY Pollutants deriving from industrial and small workshop processes must be captured as close as possible to the point of release and routed to the exterior of the workplace. In the case of intermittent work processes however, such pollutants can be aspirated and filtered out of the air, which is subsequently returned to the workplace. In this case, in addition to the use of portable air cleaner systems the installation of ambient ventilation systems may be required. Italian decree D.Lgs. 81/2008 - 2006/15/EC TECHNOLOGY EMPLOYED To guarantee and satisfy the applicable national and international standards and regulations, we make use of the best available technology, which, combined with superior technical know-how, results in the creation of safe products that are in compliance with the people responsible for using the equipment; for example, the speed of capture of the pollutant is never considered at less than 0.5 m/sec during the design stage (as required by the controlling authorities). ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT The filtration performance levels guaranteed are established in accordance with international specifications that limit the concentration levels of airborne pollutants for professional activities for which a repeatedly exposed worker does not suffer any form of health impairment. American Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) – Italian decree D.M. 20/08/1999. National and international regulations are referred to the values specified by ACGIH.
