CLEARLY SUPERIOR TUBE LUBRICANTS AMgel™ is a range of non-oil, water-based Tube bending lubricants, designed to replace conventional oils. AMgel™ products are specifically formulated to meet the specific requirements of tube bending.

Requiring no mixing or agitation, AMgel™ lubricants can be applied by brush, wipe or ideally via the mandrel lubrication system which can be supplied by AddisonMckee.Components can usually be assembled and welded without pre-wash. Gel is then easily removed in the first stage of most paint pre-treatment systems, using only moderate temperatures and mild detergents. Choice of gel will depend upon complexity of operation.Unlike oils, AMgel™ products are designed to be appliedexceptionally sparingly. They do not drip or run from components and, therefore, help keep work areas clean and tidy.Being of very low toxicity, they are all environmentally compatible,and potentially foul sewer disposable (with permission). Programmable gel application equipment ensures that the right product is delivered to the right area in the right amount at the right time.Injector pumps are used to distribute the required amount of gel to the mandrel balls and wiper dies. The frequency of each cycle is determined by the bender programme.
