| The VHL Vertical Hand-Load cartoning machine is the answer for ihose hard to load products that require the carton to be in a vertical orientation lor loading, The VHL is a continuous motion machine with the operator controlling the carton supply with tined vacuum control. The machine erects and closes the bottom of the carton prior to the hand-load area (3' of hand-load area on both sides of the machine). After loading the top of the carton is closed and then discharged from the machine. The VHL addresses today's evolving safety and ergonomic concerns. Electrically interlocked barrier guarding and main drive overload detent clutch protect the operator from injury. Our new lower hand-load stations accommodate seated or standing operator positions, Additionally, the low hand-load table height can accommodate a customer-supplied product supply conveyor above the hand-load area to increase product loading efficiency and reduce ergonomic concerns, Standard machine features include: rugged 3/16" (5mm) formed steel powder coated framework with | adjustable leveling feet and castors for portability, 2HP AC variable frequency drive system, stainless steel shafts, 2-head rotary carton feeder, 4' horizontal powered carton hopper, and machine adjustability in all three dimensions. Options to enhance speed and productivity include: 3 or 4-head rotary carton feeders, extended carton hopper lengths, extended hand-load area lengths, and an ADCO deboss date/batch coder. Closing options include: pressurized hot melt glue, hot air sealing, and/or tablock tuck closing plows. For harsh environmental conditions we offer washdown construction, which consists of a stainless steel frame, hard anodized aluminum, and NEMA 4x (IP66) electricals. Automatic lubrication systems are also available. Special options are available to further extend the standard carton size range. The VHL is capable of machine speeds up to 125 cartons per minute, depending on carton structure, design, the products to be loaded, and operator dexterity. | ||||
