C O R R U G A T E D M A C H I N E R Y V-BLISS CASE ASSEMBLY SYSTEM BENEFITS Reduces side bulge & and prevents bottom sag, which protects produce from bruising Increases top to bottom compression & stackability for improved shipping durability Uses less board than competing designs Divider beams can be easily removed for display purposes Speed: up to 25 cases per minute ADCO continues to advance the state of corrugated bliss & tray forming with the introduction of the new V-Bliss case design. The patented V-Bliss design incorporates a traditional 3-piece Bliss corrugated case structure, but adds V-shaped structural columns in the middle of the case that are tied together by a divider beam. This design reduces side bulge and prevents bottom sag, while increasing top to bottom compression, which enhances stackability. The V-Bliss case is significantly stronger than a conventional Bliss case. Depending on the application, the design can be used without the divider beam or a second beam can be added to increase strength. To form the V-Bliss case, ADCO utilizes the ABF 540V Bliss case former and ABI Beam Inserter. The advanced design of the ABF makes it ideally suited for forming V-Bliss cases. The ABF features pick-n-place end panel feeders, which are required to form the V-Bliss case. Additionally, the servo powered mandrel is equipped with special actuators that form the V-shaped structural columns precisely every time. Once the main V-Bliss case is formed, a short belted conveyor transfers it into the ABI Beam Inserter. The ABI indexes the “V” Bliss, stops the case and then automatically inserts the divider beam into the corresponding V-shaped structural columns. Once the beam is inserted, the V-Bliss case is ready for product. Family-owned since 1958 S I M P L E . S O P H I S T I C A T E D . A N D E V E R Y T H I N G I N B E T W E E N
