rac-hd heavy duty bTS? tri-seal carton closer IS/IANLJ V Rugged Tri-Seal Carton Closing The ADCO RAC Heavy Duty Tri-Seal Carton Closer is designed to handle the rigors associated with packaging thick paperboard and corrugated top load cartons. The RAC-HD features extra room for closing and sealing large, corrugated (B to Z-flute), or thick caliper paperboard cartons. The RAC-HD utilizes multiple vacuum belts to square and index cartons into the machine, at random or back-to-back, from the supply conveyor. Powered overheads with flexible grippers drive the cartons through the machine, even if they are bulged or oversized. A servo powered transfer System ensures accurate and consistent carton turns for sealing the side charlotte flaps. The RAC-HD makes use of cranks and digital readouts for easy and repeatable no-tool carton size changeovers. The RAC-HD features an L-shaped stainless steel frame. which allows unrestricted access for maintenance. Options to increase speed and productivity include: an infeed packing conveyor synchronized to an ADCO AFC-HD séries corrugated carton former, a non contact inkjet or laser coder, and servo powered size adjustments to speed up changeovers. For harsh environments, washdown construction is available featuring NEMA 4x (IP 65) electricals, ha'd anodized aluminum, and stainless steel components - there are no plated parts to rust.
