SANGER CALIFORNIA Family-owned Since 1958 High Speed Right Angle Tri-Seal Closer RAC-120 COMPACT TRI-SEAL CARTON CLOSER The ADCO RAC-120 Tri-Seal Carton Closer is the answer to your top load packaging needs. The Rac-120 incorporates a very compact footprint, multiple AC-drive motors, servo powered 90-degree transfer chains, and no-tool size changeovers designed to offer our customers a fast, reliable, versatile, and affordable triseal carton closer. The RAC120 utilizes multiple vacuum belts to square and index cartons into the machine, at random or backto- back, from the supply conveyor. Powered overheads with flexible grippers are used to drive the cartons through the machine, even if the cartons are bulged. A servo powered lugged carton transfer system ensures accurate and consistent carton transfers for sealing the side charlotte flaps. The RAC-120 makes use of cranks and digital readouts for easy and repeatable no-tool carton size changeovers. The RAC-120 utilizes a stainless steel frame that measures only 104" x 50" (2.64m x 1.27m). The RAC-120 is available in either Left or Right hand (standard) construction to optimize facility layout. The CE compliant RAC-120 utilizes metric fasteners and bearings. Options to enhance speed and productivity include: an infeed packing conveyor mated to an ADCO AF-series carton former and a non contact inkjet coder. For harsh environmental conditions, optional washdown construction featuring NEMA 4 (IP 65) electricals, hard anodized aluminum, and stainless steel components is also available.
