SIMPLE. SOPHISTICATED. AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. Family-owned since 1958 HCF tritritri -sealsealsealseal/TRAY FORMER TOP LOAD CARTONING The pioneering HCF tray former was designed to meet the growing demand for a packaging machine to form large tri-seal cartons from either paper or corrugated board. To address the problems associated with warped board, the HCF features a unique top pick carton feeder. Additionally, powered feed belts drive the carton blank into the forming cavity with the cover leading to optimize control and machine speed. The HCF features a welded tubular steel frame that measures 92 x 48” (2.34 x 1.22m). The versatile HCF is capable of running either glue or stripper lock cartons with quick change tooling. The low load hopper will hold up to 28” (0.71m) of flat blanks and features a standard roller bed infeed for pre-staging the blanks. Additional standard features include an Allen-Bradley PLC control system with HMI touch screen, programmable glue control, metric construction, casters and leveling feet, and fully interlocked barrier guarding. Stainless steel frame and washdown construction are also available. BENEFITS = Heavy duty welded tubular steel frame. = Top pick carton feeder to accommodate warped blanks. = Servo powered forming mandrel allows for optimal stroke geometry based on carton design and speed. = Nordson pressurized glue system is clean and easy to maintain. = Fully enclosed, Category-3 barrier guarding keeps operators safe, while allowing easy-open access for maintenance.
