Family-owned since 1958 COMPACT 4 VERTICAL CARTONER END LOAD CARTONING The Compact 4 is a unique vertical cartoner that utilizes an 8-station rotary starwheel to form, load, and seal end load cartons. The small size of the Compact 4 makes it ideal for cartoning in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries. The Compact 4 was designed by our German partner UET and is manufactured exclusively in North America by ADCO Manufacturing. The Compact 4 is made unique by the patented Stella® starwheel carton carrier that requires no change parts to run different carton sizes. All of the adjustment positions of the Compact 4 feature quick-locking levers and measuring scales. These features allow for fast and easy size changeovers within 15 minutes. The machine features two standard hand load stations that are coupled with a light curtain and product sensor for safe, automatic machine cycling for speeds up to 50 cartons per minute. The Compact 4 can also be configured fully automatic operation with a variety of product and leaflet loaders. Carton closing is handled by either tablock tuck or pressurized hot melt glue.
