AÏÏSt l_l FACTU RIIM Q Stout Auto-loader Handles the Toughest Production Environments The BC séries of machines are the main stay of ADCO's horizontal automatic load cartoner lineup. Heavy-duty construction and a simple design have made the BC a leader in the industry. The BC séries cartoners are available in 3 standard models; the Short 12' (3.66m) SBC, Regular 16' (4.88m) BC, and Long 20' long (6.10m) LBC. Each model is specified depending on your carton and product needs. Machine speeds ranging from 10 to 400 cartons per minute are available. The BC séries machines will give years of dependable performance by incorporating captured #60 flight chains with a robust drive System that includes a standard variable speed AC gear motor. main drive overload protection, line shaft and heavy duty gearboxes. Thèse components are uniquely mounted outboard the main frame behind removable guard panels for easy maintenance, adjustment and cleaning. AH BC séries machines feature a heavy-duty frame that is constructed out of #7 gage (5mm) tormed steel - welded and powder coated to make a stiff unitized assembly. The BC's utilize a PLC control System and a color touch screen to provide an easy to use operator interface. Electrically interlocked barrier guarding protects the operator and conforms to current safety requirements. Thèse machines have been designed to handle a wide range of carton sizes and product types - with quick adjustability in ail three dimensions. The barrel cam product inserter leatures an auto-retract System with adjustable overload sensing to p*otect against jams. which can damage the product and/or machine. Standard no product/no carton and no carton/no load features combine to provide a fully automatic System. Powered takeaway belts are standard to assure positive carton discharge off the machine. Automatic product handling and indexing can also be mtegrated depending on the products to be packaged. The BC is also available with optional washdown construction featuring NEMA 4x (IP 65) electricals, hard anodized aluminum, aqua chain and stainless steel components - there are no plated parts to rust.
