18TS SINGLE FLAP CARTON CLOSER IV1AINJU S Dependobie Top Lood Carton Closer The 18TS is a heavy duty continuous motion machine designed to seal top load single flap. RSC, and tablock tuck cartons. Cartons are indexed into the machine by either a air actuated push-off indexer or mechanical dual flag indexer depending on the speed and carton requirements. The 18TS is equipped with an adjustable dust flap tucker. In most cases, pressurized hot melt glue is used to seal the cartons along with a lugged overhead chain to ensure carton squareness. Crank driven tablock tuck closing plows are also available. Closed cartons are discharged from the machine via powered discharge belts. The simple rugged design consists of a standard stainless steel trame, captured flight chains, casters for portability and a variable speed drive system. Options to enhance productivity include an infeed packing conveyor mated to either an ADCO AF-series carton former or a VBS vertical carton bottom sealer.
