| | | Actel, the leader in Aerospace FPGA solutions, has expanded its portfolio to include Core429, an ARINC 429 bus interface core for use with its nonvolatile FPGA devices. This core, when used with Actel Flash or antifuse devices, is the only firm error immune FPGA solution available today. It is also a state-machine designed to use less power than SRAM FPGA or processor-based ARINC 429 products. Core429 is an element of a complete solution that includes code, testbench, documentation, simple host interface, reference design, and development kit. Core429 meets all requirements for ARINC 429 operation, which is a two-wire, point-to-point serial data bus used for control communications in Avionics. The bus operates at 12.5 or 100 kb/s. | | |
