| This chapter provides details on how the decoder (used in your AccuVision Camera System) functions during normal operation. It also outlines how you can verify optimal performance through several methods: ■ Become more familiar with your AccuVision application ■ Step-by-step start-up operations checklist ■ Status Indicator LEDs ■ Diagnostics to confirm normal operations The Decoder is pre-configured for your application. | IMPORTANT: In order to operate the AccuVision Camera System, you must have the decoder hardware key that is configured specifically and licensed for your application. This white hardware key MUST be installed on the decoder prior to the operation of the system. If the hardware key is not plugged in, the decode engine will not function and AVCore's main screen will display a "decode engine error". Bar codes will not be decoded if the hardware key is not properly installed. The decoder is shipped with the hardware key already installed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
