Application: Hoisting gear for crane systems

Speciality drives are the norm at ABM - 9206 In action...

ABM Helical Geared Motors, Shaft MountedHelical Motors and Planetary Geared Motors are successfully applied in the following:packaging industryconstruction industry (construction, elevators, pumps) conveying and transporting systems, cranes and hoists metal fabrication industry textile industry ABM solution: Special windings and gear accordingto FEM requirements, pole-switching noise and soft starting and braking - directly mounted to cable drum. Requirements: High power generation with soft startand gradual acceleration, as well as soft braking to ensure safe transport of even the heaviest loads. ABM solution: ABM planetary geared motors with acorrosion-free casing made of aluminium also offers weight advantages during transport. Planetary gea- red motors are very resistant against shock loads. Application: Mortar pumps Requirements : Rough conditions of application;these are used outdoors on construction sites and must cope with heat, cold and rains. Rugged in handling. Resistant against aggressive substances and dust e.g. cement. Highly shock-resistant against dried mortar on starting. Application: Pallet-packing machines ABM solution: ABM helical geared motors withflywheel rotor and soft winding features offer gentle acceleration and braking. The use of high-resistance rotors enables the motor to react flexibly to any load variation which might occur. Overstretching of the foil can thus be avoided. Requirements: Smooth rotation of the pallets, parti-cularly when stacking unstable pallets. The covering of the stretch foil is controlled by a precise rotation speed and stretching strength to avoid wide fluctua- tion of plastic foil thickness.
