Moreover, the longevity of the machines and plants makes it necessary that all information from construction to disposal is always available. For this purpose, the data from abas ERP forms the basis of an efficient life cycle management. Important criteria which can be fully fulfilled by abas ERP are multilinguality of the software and working with different currencies. Another plus is that the software can be run using the operating system Linux. Another example for this is the ISO certification procedure that would not have been possible with the old system. An issue which is generally critical when dealing with ERP systems could already be coped with: the software upgrade went smoothly, individual adjustments remain.
