In sales, for example, a sales order history and machine management were realized, purchasing provides a multi-level purchase order release and a price history. The logistics area enables the documentation of all changes made to the sales order BOM, as well as an extensive status and date management. Completion confirmations were optimized in production, the warehouse functions were expanded by optimized withdrawal lists and the monitoring of missing parts. Project highlights: Description of the ERP project: • Sales order related production lists • Serial number management• Connection of the subsidiary in France with separate client and automatic exchange of products and process data The variant diversity compared to the old version is managed in sales order related production lists. Thus, the variant diversity in the parts master files does not have to be maintained extensively. Only a small number of modules must be changed if changes are made by construction. Customer-specific product requirements are assembled in variable form in the sales order production lists. The connected serial number management makes it possible to track the machine from the sales order entry up to delivery and later services. The direct connection to a filing system enables the access of incoming and outgoing documents from abas ERP. Connections to PDC and personnel time recording, as well as the direct access to laser cutting plans top off the entire project.
