1.1. Introduction to ABAS – Company profile

The core competence of ABAS Software AG is the development of flexible ERP and eBusiness software for medium-sized companies with up to 1,000 employees. More than 2,000 customers throughout the world have opted for both ABAS as IT specialist, and for the integrated abas Business Software. The company ABAS that was once characterized by students has now become a group of companies. ABAS Software AG in Karlsruhe employs about 115 people, together with over 50 abas partners worldwide that is a total of approx. 580 employees. The abas software partners provide on-site support and a range of services including implementation, hardware and network support, customization and a helpdesk and ensure short reaction times and high service quality. ABAS is internationally represented by partners in Germany, Bulgaria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, Egypt, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, India, Syria, Thailand, USA, UAE and Vietnam. The partner network is continuously expanded.
