3.1.2. Sales order management The sales order management is a field of activity which is strongly defined by specific requirements in many companies. Through the high flexibility of abas ERP, these requirements can be fulfilled, no matter whether complex customer structures are to be displayed, customer related prices for products are to be calculated or purchase order dates of the customer are to be transferred via the Internet or EDI. Management of sales orders The management of sales orders can be used to create and edit sales orders via the sales order screen in the dialog. The structure of the screen is similar to those of the quotation screen. Due to the adoption of quotation data into the sales order the sales order creation is accelerated and the respective quotation is allocated directly to the sales order. It is also possible to place a blanket order with a customer for special products, deliveries, discounts and graduated prices.
