3.1.1. Quotations Quotations are created by entering the required information into the quotation screen. Review periods support the scheduled follow-up of quotations. Lists and evaluation tables provide an overview of current quotations or those already completed. Completed quotations are filed in their original form in the quotation archive. If required, they can be access at any time. Overview of quotation functions

Recording of incoming requests Creation and modification of quotations via the quotation screen in dialog Copying quotations from current quotations or quotations from the archive Preliminary costing for quotations via the quotation BOM Client-specific default field settings with default values Using review periods and dates in quotations Text of any length in the quotation header Text of any length in each quotation item Specification of a desired date Printing quotation in the language of correspondence recorded in the customer/ prospective customer record Printing via the form generator Even quotations which have already been archived can be printed as often as desired Entering quotation prices and values in foreign currencies Quotation monitoring using the 'outstanding quotations' lists Transferring a quotation to a sales order Quotation archive for all completed quotations in their original status
