Description of the ERP project: Project highlights: The Elkamet Kunststofftechnik GmbH based in the Hessian town of Biedenkopf develops and produces special profiles, fuel and hydraulic oil containers, as well as plastic lamp bodies for customers in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The continuous expansion of the company took the used business software to its limits. Outdated data structures and the resulting non-transparency of the data prompted Elkamet to look for a new ERP system at the end of 2002. The abas Business Software was selected due to its flexibility, internationality and guaranteed future.
