This is achieved through use of a unique filter media, which optimizes the affecting parameters. LONG SERVICE LIFE The AmAir 300GT has a 20% higher dust holding capacity than most other similar filters, which directly translates to longer actual service life and better replacement filter economy. LOW PRESSURE DROP Through its pleated, extended surface design, in conjunction with the unique filter media, the AmAir 300GT also has one of the lowest pressure drops available in its filter type class today; for normal airflows less than 0.2 In. w.g. This contributes both to its long service life, as well as optimal operation performance. EASY HANDLING The AmAir 300GT is directly interchangeable with all similar kinds of disposable panel filters, media pads in metal frames, or permanent filters used in built-up filter banks. No modifications are necessary to the frames or latches. STURDY DESIGN The AmAir 300GT is made with AAF's totally unitized, double-wall, die-cut box, beverage board frame. The media pack is bonded inside the frame at all points of contact, and the built-in deep upstream and downstream separators eliminate all possible disturbance of the pleat pattern under high humidity and variable airflow conditions, thus ensuring total usage of the filter media. Overall, the filter is designed for rugged durability and reliability under tough service conditions. With a unique filter media, AmAir 300GT provides the highest efficiency and longest service life available in a panel type filter, together with a low pressure drop. Specifically designed for gas turbine installations, this extended surface filter gives premium performance in such installations, for a wide usage as a prefilter to extend the life of the final filter.
