(352) 528-4100 • 1(800) FLANGE1 • www.ancorp.com Line Component Measurement Elbows Confirm the diameter of the tubing (see straight section measurement for directions.) Then measure the “length” of the component (see dimension “A” pg. 15.10) from the backside of the flange for flanged components or the centerline of the weld joint for butt-weld components to the centerline of the other leg. Measure the outer and inner arc length between the backside of the flanges or the centerline of the weld joints. Note if the elbow has tangents (see pg. 15.11). Tees Confirm the diameter of each tubing leg (see straight section measurement for direction.) Then measure the center line of the component from the backside of the flanges for flanged components or from the centerline of the weld joint for butt-weld components. Bellows and Flexible Hose Measure the outer diameter of the bellows. To do this measure the outer circumference and divide it by ð (3.14".) Then measure the length of the flexible component while it is compressed under vacuum. If there is significant bending or twisting of the component there may need to be an adjustment in the installation for the heater to operate properly. Conical Reducers Confirm the Diameter of each end (see straight section measurements for directions.) Then measure the length of the component from the back side of the flange for flanged components or from the centerline of the weld joint for butt-weld components.
