| | | APPLICATION The Whirligig Heavy Duty makes shaft speed monitoring much simpler, easier and more reliable. Its all stainless sleel heavy duty construction with sealed twin stainless steel professional bearings make It ideally suited to corrosive and highly demanding environmental conditions, e.g. quarries, cement factories and environments with aggressive chemicals where stainless steel is required. Used on industrial conveyors, elevators and other rotating shafts to monitor shaft speed for continuous, low speed or high speed conditions. Machines vibration or movement does not affect the performance of the sensor as the whole assembly moves with the shaft. | | |

| | | METHOD OF OPERATION An inductive sensor supplier situated in the body of the Whirligig Heavy Duty detects a target. A pulse is created for each rotation. The Whirligig can be directly connected to a control unit, a Rotech industrial encoder or a different system. The sensor bolts to the Whirligig Heavy Duty base and the complete assembly bolts to the machine's shaft using a M16 thread. The WGHD does not require any extra protection. | | |
